Ether Frames

Coming Soon

Bring your portraits to life! —— Inspired by the magical paintings of fantasy, Ether Frames transforms still images into subtly animated, lifelike portraits. Our upcoming product captures the illusion of movement and presence—your photo, gently breathing, blinking, alive. This is just the beginning. Soon, Ether Frames will listen, speak, and respond—ushering in a new era of interactive storytelling and ambient AI. Be among the first to witness portraits that do more than remember. They live.

Explore The Idea

A Photograph, Reimagined

Ether Frames brings still images to life through a carefully crafted AI-driven animation process. With subtle movement—a blink, a breath, a shift of gaze—portraits gain a sense of presence. Not video. Not voice. Just the quiet illusion of life.

This isn't about gimmicks. It's about capturing something deeper: the feeling that someone is still there.

Our system combines powerful open-source tools and custom scripting to produce lifelike animations for a wide range of images, from vintage photos to modern selfies. And while the current version is visual-only, this is just a beginning.

Our long-term vision is simple, and a little bit magical:

To make the animated portraits of fiction a reality.

To let your grandchildren one day speak to you through the frame on their wall.

We’re building Ether Frames step by step. See where we’ve been and where we’re going in The Road Ahead.

Presence, Reawakened

Our journey starts with an iconic royal portrait. With a hint of movement, Queen Elizabeth II's image feels newly present—illustrating how Ether Frames re‑animates history.

Glimpse Into a New Vision

Then we tried it on ourselves. A simple selfie, suddenly alive.

Memory in Motion

And finally, a painted portrait from another era, brought to life with a flicker of movement.

Moe Yagmour

Meet the Creator

Hey, I'm Moe.

I'm a programmer from Canada with a habit of chasing strange ideas.

Yes, it's just me. No team, no lab, no venture capital. Just one guy, a stubborn idea, and a slightly suspicious number of Python scripts.

Ether Frames started as a what-if.

What if photographs could move—like in Harry Potter?

What if your memories could blink back at you?

So I did what any overly ambitious developer with poor impulse control would do:

I grabbed a Raspberry Pi, duct-taped some AI tools together, and stuck it all in a shadow box. And it worked. Kind of beautifully.

Now I'm turning this scrappy prototype into something real—a frame you can hang on your wall that makes your photos quietly… alive. And one day, if all goes well, maybe even a little bit interactive.

I'm building it slowly, publicly, and with way too many tabs open.

Thanks for being here.
